If you like sushi, then you'll enjoy Cherry Blossom. Good food, but more suited for special occasions, since it's a bit pricey for the all-you-can-eat option. (Not too expensive, but average sushi prices). My son and I had dined here before, and he picked where we would go for lunch in Guelph. He chose Cherry Blossom.
Happy that they at least let you order a la carte. The sushi rolls were really good, and had a variety of vegetarian options. My only downside was that the tempura didn't taste freshly made as the batter wasn't hot or crispy, but warm and soft so they likely made them in big batches and either refried them or heated them up somehow.
We recently visited Cherry Blossom Sushi and had a pleasant dining experience overall. The ambiance was quite elegant and cozy, making it a nice spot for dinner. Our server, Maggie, was very kind, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout. We ordered several dishes — the Buddha Roll, Veg Dragon Roll, Spring Rolls, Fried Rice, Guelph Roll, Teriyaki Chicken Roll, Salmon Cheese Roll, and Shrimp Tempura. The food was fresh and nicely presented, though taste-wise it was average — good but not exceptional. The only issue we faced was during payment. A small heads-up for foreign travelers: it’s better to carry a Canadian card to avoid issues. We tried multiple cards, and it kept showing an additional 5% charge, which was confusing. Eventually, we had to use a different card that finally went through. . Overall, great service, nice ambiance, and decent food — worth a visit!
We come to this place once a month for the all you can eat menu and there is huge selection of items you can order. The staff are super friendly and quick bringing the food to the table. The food is always super tasty, hot and fresh. We love the beef ribs, the vegetable udon noodles, and the green dragon sushi. The butter mushrooms are soooo delicious! The restaurant and the bathrooms are always very clean. The restaurant has beautiful decor and vibrant pink cherry blossom trees down the middle. Would highly recommend you check this place out!!
Good service, food comes out fast and the waiters are great. The roasted sushi dishes were very good along with the cooked foods
